Sheep seemed to be everywhere in the Cotswolds—beautiful white sheep grazing in the rolling pastures, even surrounding Stonehenge! This colorful fellow became the subject of my very first painting demonstration during my Cotswolds retreat. Rather than simply painting a white sheep, I had fun finding all the unexpected colors hiding within the wool, shadows, and reflected light. It was the perfect way to begin painting in a place that was overflowing with inspiration.
