Tuscan Twilight

One of my favorite memories was driving with my husband through the rolling hills of Tuscany and Umbria, wandering from one hilltop village to the next. This painting was inspired by an evening in Montepulciano. It was bitterly cold that night, but the sweeping views and glowing lantern-lit streets were more than worth it. After exploring the village, we warmed ourselves with the most incredible bowl of Tuscan bean soup—simple, comforting, and unforgettable, just like the evening itself.
