Almost every year when it comes time to decorating the tree, I tend to think of it more grudgingly... as another task that has to be completed. But then, as those boxes are opened, the memories of each ornament that has been collected over the years come flooding back. Once the tree is decorated, the boxes are put away, and the tree is lit, I love taking moments to sit back with the family. It brings such a sense of peace and gratitude as I reflect on the reason we have Christmas...the wonderful gift of Jesus.
