Sign of Perfect Love

As I was painting the ivy on this painting, I "happened" to be listening to "The Garden" by Kari Jobe. As I put the strokes of paint to form the ivy, her beautiful words completely took hold of my heart:

"Faith is rising up like Ivy

  Reaching for the light

Hope is stirring deep inside me

making all things right"

It's just like God to show up in the midst of doing what we love to speak His ever-loving kind, encouraging and comforting words to us in ways that are so deep and overwhelming.
