"Happy New Year. I have a new perspective on Italy. As you know I haven’t been to Italy, but someday I will go and have a different eye (perspective) when I visit. I think I will look more closely at little details, little unseen treasures. I am behind on my painting but I will catch up now that we are in the new year and I will post my progress. Thank you so much for your excellent tutelage with your “Alla Prima” technique. I plan to use this style to paint some of my European experiences, photographically speaking. It’s is also interesting that Central Europe has very much the same architectural features as Italy. I am looking forward to some of the Friday chats if you are planning on continuing that dialogue.
